Right now Brian, Dave, and I are sitting in the living room of our most gracious host Paige. So far we have had two wonderful nights of sleep and im sure the third is going to be just as nice. Yesterday we did a 7 mile urban hike on the outskirts of San Francisco. Some sights of note include the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco National Cemetery, Alcatraz, a pet cemetery, and a beach with people on it. George Bush once referred to this area as the most glorious place ever (idk if thats true but it is nice there). Today we are going to venture forth and see the north shore area and im hoping that it is just as wonderful as the rest of our trip has been. Kanye West probably hates it but thats OK. No one likes him anyways.
PS. Dave and Brian both conceded that bikes would have been a good idea for the city of San Fran but I am still convinced that we would have been using them for this entire trip.
Coast to Coast!

We have finally seen the Pacific Ocean! After a beautiful stay in Seattle with incredible hosts we moved west to the greenest national park, Olympic. Moss covers everything and the trees are absolutely massive. After a cold night and a beautiful hike we left for Portland. A special thanks to Zoe for putting us up for the night and for hanging with us, so now were off to check out the city. Tonight we'll sleep amongst the Redwoods in Northern California and then off to San Francisco!
Good Morning From the Emerald City!

So, after a 12 hour drive from Yellowstone we've crossed into the Pacific time zone at last. Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons, though very different, were a lot of fun. The Tetons gave us a great taste of what the Rockies are like while Yellowstone gave us a great taste of what Mars may or may not be like.
Seattle, on the other hand, has already given us a feel of what cities on the west coast are like. We're currently planning on staying here for the weekend and then visiting Olympic National Park, Portland and The Redwoods before heading to the city by the bay next weekend!
Cheers,
Brian (Dave & Greg)
If only you could smell this.
